I would like to view web pages full screen without any menu bars. I use Firefox and they do have a few extensions but not compatible with Mac (what's up with that?).
To be honest, I'm getting tired of menu bars in general. Would be nice if I could do all of my computering in full screen view and have menu bars visible only when I move my cursor up.
Is there an app out there that describes this functionality?
Thanks.

You're in luck! Macs only have one menu bar, while Windows users have to have one in each window.
Seriously, the menu bar is integral to computers until a better or different interface is developed. I get tired of gas pedals in cars too, but they're here to stay. I don't think you can do what you want.

I always take the brakes out of my cars, I'm not a fan of brakes. Gas peddles are cool though.

Guys, I'm not remotely talking about driving a car here...
: )
Seriously, menu bars are in the way of full-fledge viewing. Yes I need electricity but poles are not needed anymore, it's all dug underground these days.

What kind of car do you enjoy driving the most, dzp111?

Lol! I seriously fail to see what driving a car (any car) has to do with my wanting to use a full-screened interface. But since you asked, I like the old Mach 1 Mustang, and of course it's standard transmission.. But, what does that have to do with my wanting to eliminate menu bars?

You can hide the toolbars, tab bar, status bar and the side bar, but the menu bar has more to do with the OS than the application.

dzp111: I believe you can eliminate the menu bar with the kiosk mode of the Saft Safari hack.

Shiira (free; uses WebKit, like Safari) and Opera (free; proprietary engine) both offer a full-screen mode. I don't know of any Gecko-based (ie. Mozilla) browsers that have a working full-screen mode on the Mac.
