Safari is my browser. I haven't had any problems with it today until I tried to register my hp printer. Then it wouldn't load my page. Is safari the best mac browser? If not what is? thx

Whoah, that's weird. Auto replace the WebKit nightlies address with that link? Weird.

Yeah, it reads the header of the page, and creates the link for you. It doesn't work with all pages, though. I'm not sure why. It can be quite annoying when you're trying to specifically quote a web address, but I suppose it's a nifty feature.

Safari the best browser?! It crashes regularly, meaning at least once or twice a week. Firefox never has, for me at least. And the 2.x version's GUI is so much mor Mac like than the 1.x version.

You download Webkit from webkit.org. It's basically still Safari, but the rendering engine (the part the draws webpages in the window) is better and faster.

You install it like any other app, and it will appear as a separate app called "Webkit".
