What mac do you have? The only way to do this is to run it under Windows, either on virtual PC (on PPC) or under Bootcamp or Parrallels on Intel.

You can't. If it's for web development then you have to use Windows.

Isn't IE6 supposed to work on WINE/CrossOver?

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

install X, wine, then ies4linux which is a script that installs ie for you.

I run ie 5.5 and 6 on my macbook for testing.

here's more info:
Wine HQ

Run IE6 on OS X (WINE) - Topic Powered by eve community

CrossOver is basically a nice installer for wine. You can install it yourself for free, but it is a bit involved.
You can take the dude out of So Cal, but you can't take the dude outta the dude, dude!

Testing on Mac IE is pointless since nobody uses that browser. You really need to test on IE for Windows. I'd suggest running Windows on your Mac through virtualization.

I don't recommend it, but if you absolutely need Internet Explorer for the Mac, you can get it on Pure-Mac's website.
