Does Keychain Show Passwords?

I just figured out that in Mozilla Firefox (Windows) it will show passwords if you ask it to. If you do not set up a master password it is very simple for an intruder to see your personal passwords. Does Keychain show passwords in a similar way, that you need to set up a master password seperatley from the master password for the mac?

It will if you provide your user password.

Open Keychain Access in /Applications/Utilities to see it work yourself.

Excellent!!! I just wanted to make sure it does not display it once you have already logged in. It will ask you again even if you are logged in correct?

Yes. It will ask Deny, Allow Once, or Always Allow when you click on "Show password." You'll probably want to click Allow Once.
