Hi, I've made movies with iMovie before. I have one gig of video clips I took using "Game Cam" from Counter Strike - Source. Apparently, it's in mpeg-4 format. But when I take it to my MacBook Pro, it converts it to .avi format. I don't know if it's Quicktime or what, but it's not working. When I try to Import my clips into iMovie, it crashes and closes. Also, even when I try to click any of my clips in finder, Finder like switches windows or something and it refuses to let me open that clip. Any conversions out there or anything I can do to fix this? Below is a screenshot of the properties:

If the image is down, please tell me. HEELP!!

Install the plug-in off perian.org and Flip4Mac (google it) and try again.
That says "MS-MPeg4" which means it's some Microsoft bullshit.

Ok, nutha problem. My clips in iMovie look like ****. It's all scratchy and bad. But on my PC, the clips are crystal clear. Should I try transferring them again?

Yup, when I play them on my PC using WMP on my removable hard drive, it plays fine. But when I play em offa my removable hard drive or even on my actual Mac system, it looks really bad in Quicktime. Maybe because Quicktime or something is seeing it as an .avi instead of its original format, mpeg-4. HELP!!
