I have recently had a problem with Calico 1.3 (a panorama stitcher) refusing to load any images. Whether I drag and drop or use the Load button, no images appear. The Console gives this message:

2007-06-17 16:25:34.015 Calico[3093] Exception raised during posting of notification. Ignored. exception: *** -[NSPlaceholderDictionary initWithObjects:forKeys:]: number of objects (0) not equal to number of keys (3)
It seems to me that this means that nothing was received.

I have tried removing and reinstalling the application and its plist, verifying the hard drive, doing the disk maintenance tasks, repairing permissions, clearing the caches and some logs, setting up a new account on the computer and trying Calico from there. I added the file to the exclude list for Application Enhancer from Unsanity. The filenames of the images had no unusual characters in them. Nothing helps. The people who distribute the software have been unable to help.
What should I try next?
