I am using Thunderbird 2.0.0.4 (latest version). Nothing too spectacular- two email accounts, a few filters. I have a weird issue regarding junk mail. While I can manually label something junk, it does not go into the assigned junk folder unless I click "Tools->Run Junk Mail Controls on Folder". I have checked, double checked and triple checked that the junk settings are to move junk mail to the junk folder.

Second and perhaps more importantly. I recently set up Thunderbird on this computer. Is there a way for Thunderbird to associate every name and email address so I can just type someone's name. There are hundreds of people who have sent me emails that are currently in my Inbox and it would be helpful for Thunderbird to "remember" and associate these already.

Thanks.
