I have put exported all my photos from iPhoto and copy to another vista desktop here are the problems I had:

8 Photo's original has lost, the thumbnail still there but no original, such a shame.

The quality has been reduced, I compare some of the pictures with my original backup, and the copy quality is definitely worse.

So becareful when you use iPhoto.

Wow, I definitely will be. Tell me though, I presume your photos are still ok in iPhoto?

Check your home/Pictures/iPhoto Library folder. Your missing picture files may still be in there somewhere.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!
