I have an older PB g4 and I was wondering if there was any alternative to the program sidetrack ? ( this is the program that allows you to scroll using your tackpad)

what's the matter with sidetrack? I'm not aware of any other options, especially as sidetrack is essentially a kind of 'hack' (not really but can't think of a better way of describing at the moment!).

There used to be a hack called iScroll. Might want to check into whether that is still available.
