Hello, I am looking for the iLife icons (iDVD, iMovie and iPhoto) as photoshop files, so I can use them in print and web pages. I have tried Apple's PR room, but all they have are icons of the box and screenshots. I would like them with transparent backgrounds. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong but are not those items copyrighted and can only be used with the express permission from Apple? if they're not answering you so you can use them for your own purposes then I suppose that is an answer in of itself.

Well, I will have to write to Apple and find out, but I have seen these icons on lots of web pages. Anyways, I found a great way to do this:

Find the icns files in the package of the app, then open it up with Preview, save the image as a PNG instead and then open it up in Photoshop!! Should work with any app!

No arguments there but then you can also find tons of music and software on the net and that doesn't mean its right.

will apple send you a cease and desist letter - probably not, but if you start using it for commercial purposes you may find yourself in deep weeds.

If you ever frequent forums that discuss icons and graphic design, you'll see that people who design them take great offense to those who steal the images for their own use w/o approval from the author.
