I'm going to be upgrading the hard drive in my MacBook Pro and want to find a good diagnostic program that will test the speeds of it so that I can do it before and then after. It would be nice if it's a all around program which tests things such as video rates, cpu speed, etc. Any advice?

Xbench: Comprehensive Macintosh Benchmarking

Xbench is poo. Wildly inconsistent results, among other things.

If you want to test hard drive speed, run a hard drive benchmark (like copying a big file from disk to disk or disk to ram or ram to disk).
If you want to test CPU speed, run a CPU benchmark that's relevant to what you do (Photoshop, CineBench, spec cpu2006, etc).
If you want to run a graphics test, play a game and watch the framerate.
Etc.
