Sorry, the title doesn't say it all. I mean AppleWorks 5 files.

Why don't you just try it out and find out? It is shareware, after all.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Charles,
I am using OS 9 and AppleWorks 5, and Tex-Edit plus can’t open a draw or a word processing document. I was wondering if Tex-Edit for OS X was now capable of doing it.

I had checked Tex-Edits’ web site before I posted and didn’t find any mention of it but I thought they might not have listed all its capabilities. So I was hoping someone might know from experience.

The only thing that's going to successfully open your Appleworks files on OS X is... Appleworks.
MacLink might convert them, but I've not personally tried it.

Thanks AK,
I forgot about MacLink. I'll check it out.
