When i finally get my macbook pro 15'' 2.4 ghz 160gb @ 7200rpm, I am going to get the trial run of soho notes. I was wondering whether anyone here uses the program and is it useful.

Check out Journaler too - it's free for personal use (donations asked though), and works for me.

Meh, I think there are better apps.

DEVONthink and Yojimbo both have some nice features. DEVONthink is rock solid and very scaleable, with a UI that could use a little updating. Yojimbo has lots of whizbang and is a lot faster than SOHO notes.

I use it but it drives me nuts and I wouldn't recommend it - I recently downloaded devon think but haven't got into using it as I didn't like the interface. Also yohimbo just didn't grab me....Soho notes is a useful app - not least because it can be synced with .Mac (if you have that service) - Give it a trial but it is unreliable for me, not superstable, always a hassle to upgrade with hopeless support.

You will notice that Soho have taken down their support forums. There is a reason for this. Suffice it to say that the transition from Stickybrain to SOHO Notes was more than a little bumpy and forced many Stickybrain users to switch to Yojimbo.
