Ive just started using adblock for firefox and learned about the contro-click

my goal was to remove the dancing nonsense and that it.

I got greedy and now I have a whole list of stuff in the adblock 'blockable elements'

I can't see the radar image which is why I go to that page (intellicast)

I can't figure out how to remove all the blockable images and start again and just remove the dancing figures

appreciate any help/ how am I going to know if rain is comming

very dumb of me

Right click on the 'dancing ad', choose Adblock Image, then trim the URL down to be more general but not to include any 'good' images.

If you point me to the page you're trying to kill the ad/keep the map on I could help you with trimming the URL.

If you get adblock plus, it'll give you the option to install country-specific filters. I've had a lot of success with the USA filter. It's rare I get an unwanted ad.

I was gone?

The problem with adblock plus and filterset.g is they have these huge complex filter rules that really slow down firefox loading new pages. If you're a tab junkie like me it really makes the user interface slow down. I used to use them but have gone back to writing my own rulesets.

To block the ads on that site (and many more) add an Adblock filter for "RealMedia" and "googlesyndication.com"
