Oops, I meant Safari 3.0b. I was thinking of something else

Prior to using the new Safari, music, movies, etc. would load in other tabs, but now it seems like you have to click the tab for them to load. Sure, it makes sense not to have the content play (so you have 3 songs playing at once). It was nice to have the content download in the background, rather than wait until you activate the tab, which forces you to wait. Perhaps this is a setting that changed as part of 1.3 or QuickTime, but I cannot find it. Does anyone know how to go back to the old method of loading content in tabs?

The current Safari beta is version 3.0.2, not 1.3.

Anyway, Flash only loads once you activate the tab. This is the case in Safari 2.0.4 I'm currently using, and it has been like that for a very long time (if not always).

Oops, I was thinking about another product with the 1.3. Edit made at top of thread.

At any rate, yes, Flash always has waited to initialize until the tab is opened, but it seems that QuickTime has made a change, although I'm not sure if there's something else that works this way or not.

I'm pretty sure QuickTime has always been like that. And yeah, it's super annoying.

It's always worked that way as far as I can remember.

Interesting, I am confident that it didn't.
