I have QT 7.1.6 and the Pro add on. OS 10.4.10 on the MacPro

Ive been using it for a lo0ng time no problem

now when I edit the following happens:

I use the two lower editing triangles to cut the first snipit and then select a large middle, nnot bothering to cut the last snipit and use save as ...

this creates a smaller file ( NB Ive cut out the beginning snipit). in the past it 'cut out' the last snipit as it was never selected between the two editing triangles.

now the new saave as includes it. at one point it saves a file that was about 250 MB as 8 GB! I trashed that and restarted the Mac but still on save as it keeps the non selected last snipit.

if I cut that snipit it works fine what has changed fore me?
