Why do pre-ordered albums from the iTunes Music store always seem to only be available for download days after the normal release? I don't know if this is the norm or if I've just had bad luck. I find it so frustrating to have to decide between waiting for them to let me download it or canceling my pre-order and just buying the normal release which does not include the special content which only the pre-order contains.
I went through this with the T.I. album. The ITMS sent me an email with credit for two free songs because it took so long. The new 50 Cent album actually got delayed until fall which is fine but, it would have been nice if they'd let me know before the expected release date rather than after. Now I am going through this with the new Chemical Brothers album. C'mon Apple. I'm also paying $11.99 to get it from iTunes plus. If Apple's always gonna be a pain in the butt why not just order it from Amazon for $9.99? Well I wont actually do that just because I love iTunes. I don't get the extra track that way either but it is annoying. Do you think iTunes has trouble acquiring the special content the supply on the pre-orders or something?
