Hey, I've been i=using iPhoto a lot and this time I wanted to empty the trash (512 photos) and it "quits unexpectedly" every time :S why does this happens?

My first guess is a corrupt preference file. Delete (actually, move to elsewhere temporarily) all of your iPhoto preferences from your home directory with iPhoto closed, then relaunch, and try again. (If that doesn't work, then drag your prefs back.)

oohh where specifically can i find those files?

Click on the house icon (Home folder). Then go into Library and then Preferences.

Do a search for everything inside of that folder that has "iPhoto" in the file name. Delete/move temporarily all iPhoto files. That will reset the preferences.
