I just got a used macbook, and front row wont play or show anything. It will just show the spinning wheel, then all the sudden your desktop is back. Now, iTunes stops opening. I click to start it, it opens and immediately closes and I get one of those "The application iTunes quit unexpectedly" errors.

Anyone help?

I have all the latest updates.

Did you reinstall the OS after you got it or are you using what was given to you?

I'm using what was given, which was supposedly a fresh install, but he forgot to include the install discs and he's going to ship them separately. I'm just wondering if there is a fix short of an install. All my iApps crash upon open.

Create a new account and try it from there. If it works, then it's an account problem. If it still fails, then it's a system problem.

It's not an account problem then. Since you don't really know the history of this Mac, the simplest solution is to reinstall when you get your media.

by any chance you do not happen to have Perian installed, it could be the guilty party.
