Hi All,
Recently made the switch to Mac after 20 years of PC
This is my setup:
XP Desktop & MacBook - Airport Extreme - 250GB External drive - 2 x Airport Express - USB Printer and 2 x Powered Speakers
Everything works flawlessly. Able to stream music and print wirelessly from both machines. External 250GB Drive formatted in HFS+ contains +160GB of music / music videos and movies in iTunes library. Both XP and MacBook runs iTunes. Here's my question:
What program can I get to enable my XP machine to:
1) recognise the HFS+ formatted external drive
2) read and play my iTunes library from the external drive.
I know there's a bunch third party programs that allow an XP machine to recognise, read & write an HFS+ formatted drive. BUT which program will allow iTunes on the XP machine to recognise and play the iTunes Library on the HFS+ external drive. No worries about iTunes authorization - entire collection ripped from my collection CDs and DVDs.
Thanks in advance for any help.
