hello,

So like many of you I have followed the event and it was good enough s I decided to give .Mac another try.

Now I was wondering something.

On my cellphone, a Sony Ericsson W810i, I can set up a IMAP email account. Now the thing is, I have several hundreds of email messages and i was wondering how this could be handled. I am going to move my gmail messages to my @mac accounts via Mail app so that it will synchronize online. But on my cell phone, will it attempt to download them "all"... by recreating the folders and downloading the messages inside of them? This is probably not possible since the internal memory is limited...
How do you advise me to set up my @mac email address on my cellphone?

Why not look through your phones account settings and see if there's an "unread only" option?

Nope actually I cant do that. However this is fake IMAP support cause when placing messages in a folder different than the inbox, they are not retrieved by the cell phone... Absolutely no difference with POP3
