Hello,

I'm wondering what is the trick to crop a picture in iPhoto using the crop tool while maintaining the initial proportions of the picture.

In my hands, the crop window shows but when I resize it does not keep the proportions!
I cant use the "impose format" option because I know the format of my pictures in pixels but not in centimeters as the impose format option shows me.. honestly the conversion is way to painfull to make every time, specially that the screen size is in inches!!!

Thanks for your feedback.

The new version of iPhoto makes this easy, I'm presuming you are using '06? You need to use 'constrain to original'.

Thanks

Where do I find constrain originals? If it is in the left corner of bottom tool bar in the edit window, then I have that, but I dont even know to which format I have to constrain since I dont know the format of my pictures, I have it only in pixels... 2000X1312 pixels
