Try exporting a Numbers document to Excel. It inserts a table of contents page. I understand needing to make multiple sheets if the Numbers doc has multiple tables on a given canvas, but you can't turn off the TOC!

The upshot is, if you have a single spreadsheet in a document, you can't just convert to .xls and let it go. You have to open it in Excel and remove the TOC page to make it clean. Sorta defeats the purpose of using Numbers in the first place

What he says. I was hoping to ditch Office, I only use Excel for submitting corporate timesheets and expense reports, but I can't send in "Made in Pages" Contents pages without looking pretty goofy. . .
If they could just ditch the TOC for a 1:1 export I would be a happy camper.
