msn unable to connect using adium

Yesterday my msn messenger account was working fine on adium.

Today when i try to connect, I get the error message:

Connection error from Notification server:
Unable to connect

I tried downloading the official msn messenger for mac and I get the error saying that I'm not connected to the internet.

Then I tried creating a new Microsoft Live ID and I still get the same errors.

My AIM and Gtalk accounts work perfectly fine on adium.
Also I tried MSN's live web messenger version and Meebo and I can login.

Any suggestions or solutions? Thanks..
