InDesign EPS file : black knocking out?

	My company do most of our work in Quark Xpress. Most of our imposition templates are standing in Quark. So the most likely scenario is that we will convert a file to an EPS file and then place in Quark. Received an InDesign file the other day: when the file prints out of InDesign it separates fine with black overprinting etc. However when we save as EPS and place in Quark the black knocks out the background on the same file. Any ideas? InDesign = CS3; Quark = 6.5
