I just ordered a new MacBook. I started looking around for my copy of Office 2004 that I had purchased for my mini, but I can't find it! The only thing I can find is the old v. X. I don't really want to buy an new Office 2004, because I understand that the 2008 will be coming out soon.

This is my question: Will Office v. X work on a new MacBook?

Sorry, I don't know. However, you can copy Office 2004 from your mini to your macbook and it'll work. (Make sure you grab the pref files and folder from your user home/Library/Preferences path.
