I moved from a Power Mac dual 1.25Ghz to a 20" iMac duo core 2 2.4Ghz I don't have a 6 pin to 6 pin firewire so I was unable to use the migration assistant. I transfered my documents folder to the new iMac via the Ethernet connect. I can't open any Turbo Tax or Epson CD files I created on my PPC computer. They show up as "unix executable files" I can open MS Word and Quicken files. Any ideas how to fix this?

Try opening the files from within their applications, not double-clicking.

Yes, I do. I have not loaded Print Explosion Deluxe yet. I was debating on buying PE Deluxe 3.0 or loading PE Deluxe. I do have Turbo Tax and Epson CD print installed

Ok. How did you transfer the files over Ethernet? Did you use AFP or SMB file sharing?
