Original file

Can you guys read the above file (which is a store coupon)? In Preview and in Safari, I just get a blank white page. It opens up fine in Photoshop though. Below is a JPG of the file.

Nope - doesn't work in Preview, but does in Adobe Reader.

Strange. I don't think I've ever had a PDF file completely incompatible with Preview before, ever since I've started using OS X (with 10.1 and on).

Bizarrely enough, I've actually had PDFs that worked in Preview but not in Acrobat. Blame wonky PDF writers, I guess.

Hmmm... Apparently this PDF doesn't work in Linux either with multiple PDF viewers.

From what software did your above PDF originate?

I've see PDFs not work in Preview but are fine in Acrobat before. I can't say how they were created but they were always from PC users.

I'm not 100% sure I remember, but I think it was some version of Quark.
