Because I travel extensively I often hit the timeout on iTunes podcasts whereas it stops updating. I have to click on the little notification icon that says "do you wish to continue updating this podcast? Yes or no?"

Is there any way to extend this timeout, or shut off this feature entirely?

I'd like to do this as well. It seems to have a really short trigger. I have a lot of podcasts and I go in cycles as to which ones I listen to.
