I just updated my Thunderbird to 2.0.0.6

unfortunately the "welcome to thunderbird" logo/"""email""" does not go away

any ideas out there?

In the prefs (General) does unchecking the Thunderbird Start page do it?

many thanks. was going crazy. that must be a new thing as I think in the past you got the start page both w fiefox and Tbird only once
