Hi...
I'm using the Saft extension for Safari and really like the 'dated folder for downloaded files' option which creates a new folder for downloads and names the folder for the day's date. Very helpful since I tend to download lots of files. Saft lets them auto-organize. Apparently Saft changes Safari's 'Save downloaded files to' preference to today's date.
But Saft places these folders on the desktop. I'd prefer then in a different place, like a folder named Downloads in my home directory.
I tried changing the dated folder field in Saft preferences from M/d/yy (the default) to ~\Downloads\M/d/yy but Saft didn't like that. I think that field expects just the date format, not a path.
I'm still very new to Saft so maybe I'm missing an easy hack. Does anyone know how to do this?
PS...I don't see any way to contact the developers and there's no forum, etc., either.
