a relatively unimportant problem, but hey it bugs me (and couldn't find anything on adium's site...)
i want to put a link in my info, which will mostly be viewed by AIM users. when i just type in a link address it automatically makes it a live link. but if i want to have something else actually be the link text and do an <a href= deal, it just shows the code to an AIM user, and not the text I chose to be the link text. Does adium just not allow you to do your own html in the info box?
Try right-clicking and "Add link.." or under the Edit menu when editing your profile. I think this is because what you're editing is rich text, which means you can bold text and change colors and whatnot, but then you run into problems like yours.
