Hello all,

I am trying to convert an mpeg in my iTunes account to an mp3. I did purchase it through the itunes store. Is this not possible? It said that encoded files cannot be converted. Any way around this?

Burn it as an Audio CD. Reimport the Audio CD into whatever format you want.
