Help! I downloaded an audio book from the library and it won't play on my computer! The file is a DRM protected wma! The preview was a wma file also, but it played fine on my computer (Macbook pro OSX 10.4.10) using Quicktime (flip for mac wmv), so I assumed the full file would also play. It doesn't! I have googled and searched with no luck to find an application that will convert these files. Ultimately, of course, I'd like to be able to put them on my ipod, but I'll settle for the computer. Can there really be nothing that will work? I tried Audio Hijack Pro but couldn't get it to work, and I tried Easy WMA and got some weird screeching chatter, and I even tried just changing the wma extension (okay, so I was desperate). Anyone know how to make this work?
I can't believe there's not a way. There's a way to do everything on a Mac, isn't there? I'm thinking that if there's no application to do it (which I hope there is), I could probably use the Windows side of this computer, but I'm ashamed to say that I don't have a clue how to do it. (I have Parallels installed and have had this computer since last December, but I've never had the slightest desire or need to try it out.)
Thanks for your help!
