Just got the macbook pro a week ago. I just joined this forum and I'm having problems with front row. When I'm in the iphoto section of front row and want to play a certain slide show, It freezes and says that iphoto is not responding. It tells me to click pause/play on the remote to go back to my desktop. Any one had this? Thankshttp://forums.macnn.com/images/smilies/hmmm.gif

Yeah its a known problem, with no solution AFAIK! It occurred when i upgraded to iphoto 08 , presumably they will release a fix sooner or later!

Thanks man, i'll be on the look out then. Also, could this be the issue of why it won't let me add picures to my myspace page. Whenever I click browse on myspace to add photos, the iphoto folder is not highlighted therefore not being able to post. Is there some other way to post pictures or is it iphoto? Thanks

Well thats a separate issue. Apple thought it would turn the "iPhoto Library" folder into a package (if you control click it you'll see "show package contents" click it and... BINGO your iPhoto files).
They did this to prevent uses messing up iPhotos file structure, which can lead to big problems! This is a good idea........ or is it??
Because apple turned it into a Package, it stops you directly accesing your files from pretty much any application... photoshop/mail..... you name it.
There are a couple of work arounds..
Either copy your "to be used" photos to your desktop (by accessing the iphoto library package copy and pasting) and then using them that way.
Or
Open the iPhoto package>>> control click on "originals">>> click make alias>>> move that alias folder to your sidebar...thus being able to access your original photos.
I did ring apple care about this... 30mins later... no real answer, apart from them telling me it was a "new feature of iPhoto '08"
(sorry, that was i bit long winded)

Or you could do it the intended way and export the desired photos from within iPhoto.
