Hey, I'm trying to get a varient of Knoppix running on my MacBook. I got it to boot up fine and everything but I can't get the AirPort card to connect to the WiFi. I've never done Wifi in *nix before so I'm not quite sure what to do.

I know theres probably some driver issues and i was also wondering if anyone knows what I could do to get around those. I can customize the image to add stuff so thats not a problem.

What i'm using is BackTrack 2 from remote-exploit.org

Linux on a laptop... sucks.

I'd suggest using VMWare. They can pass the networking through and it should work okay.
