To access our school resources from home we need to have i.e 5 or higher (for pc) is there anyway of getting on in a mac. Wont work in all those browsers liek firefox or camino. Any ideas?
you might try User Agent Switcher for Firefox -- this plug-in makes FF identify itself as IE 6 or whatever you want. A very useful trick to get around Windows IE requirements (unless they also use an ActiveX component). The user agent change can also be done with Safari. Not sure about camino.
To access User Agent switching in Safari, turn on the Debug Menu which in turn is most easily done by running Safari Enhancer, a freeware software package. sam
