I have around 10gb of iTunes purchased music together with photos etc backed up using Backup on .Mac. I have now purchased a new iMac 2,8 and have transfered all of my old files music and photos from my old mac to this new one. If I try to back the new mac up to .Mac though it doesn't recognise the old mac files still on the .mac server as the same files and want's to back up a second copy of everything which is stupid (and very slow with my upload speed of only 384kb). Is there some thing I can do to help .ac realise that they are the same files and that I only want to back up my incremental work?
