A co-worker found my iWork box and installed the software using MY license key (they told me about it after they had "borrowed" it). Office ethics aside, will this foul up my license with Apple? I have taken action to rectify the situation, and have made sure the illegitimate copy has been uninstalled. I'm just not sure what to expect. Does Apple audit these type of things? I'm a newly anointed CISSP and I'm terribly scared of having anything unethical linked to my name. Thanks for your advice in advance.

No, it does not foul up your license as software may installed on one computer, then removed and then installed on another computer. Read the terms. In any event, Apple does not currently ever check on their licensees as far as I know. I have the family pack as I have 4 Macs in my household. sam

iWork does not have "activation", so nothing ever goes to Apple on this count (unless you send in the optional registration).

Good to know. I just wasn't sure what was being transmitted once you enter the key. Thanks for your thoughts.
