in these days i saw a video of mail 3...that u only needed to put your address and the password and mail does everything else...so..my question is...if u put your hotmail account and password...does mail 3 work with it..?? receive..send... etc.?

Hotmail is MS-proprietary. There's an option in Entourage 2008 for it though.

Hotmail is garbage.
You can't access it using Safari.

4 real entourage has an option.?!!?!? how.?!?!? tell me please... btw.. i use hotmail...cuz all my friends use it.. and its the best way to chat with them...

When you create a new mail account, it lets you choose between POP3, IMAP, Exchange, or Windows Live Hotmail.

You can set up a gmail account to chat with people on hotmail.
That's what I, and all of my smart friends, do.

You don't need a hotmail account to chat with your buddies on msn. You can create a mail account via any other provider (e. g. gmail) and then create a msn live account (that's the current name I believe) using that mail account.
Don't use hotmail as it uses proprietary protocols.

Many features can only be accessed when you upgrade to the full version of hotmail, now called "Windows Live" (as for me, it still looks dead).
To do that, you have to use either Firefox or that windows browser.
No other browser will work.

Camino works, but of course it's based off Mozilla code so that may be why.

I'm using Mail with hotmail thru a plugin call httpmail. Works great, but I bet it'll need an update with Leopard.

This is Entourage 2008. I think it's the same for Entourage 2004.

The solution is called gmail, yahoo mail, or any mail other than lukewarmmail (can't call it hotmail any longer, can't we?)
