So i find it really annoying that Safari and omniweb use kBytes/s instead of kbits/s is there anyway to change that in either program.

I have no idea but it really annoys me as every isp rates there line speed in bits why put it in bytes. I know that it is all about marketing but i don't see why it can't be a choice. Azureus is the only program I even know of that allows you to change it. Those are just the two browsers I use

ISPs put it in bits because that number will be higher, but bytes is the more important measure. Besides, how hard is it to divide or multiply by 8?

How hard is it to make it kb instead of KB or give me the choice.

if all traffic signs said km/h i would expect my car to have a speedometer in km/h
or like many cars have both kmph and mph

its not hard but why do it if i don't have to

but whatever if there isn't a way to do it life goes on
