I have a few song files that are for some inane reason in SWF format. Any programs that can convert them to mp3?

QuickTime Pro with the Perian plugin installed.

Although there are other apps that can leverage QT without a "Pro" license.

For a free solution, I'd suggest Soundflower. This program routes the audio output of the computer to the input of any audio editing software, such as GarageBand. Then, you just use GarageBand to record the audio while you playback the SWF audio.
