I'm a Securities Trader & i use the internet all the time.
Can somebody pls. advise if it's possible to install most (or all) trading software on an Mac OS X O/S or will i need to switch to Windows O/S ?

I want to take advantage of the superior MacOS X O/S.

Trading software? Seeing as you're in the business, you probably know the names. Insert into Google and find the manufacturers site. Then check their compatibility.

Just google your apps, see if they have Mac versions.

No, he's saying he uses TD Ameritrade's Web-based trading software on a Mac. It won't allow you to install anything else on your Mac; it's just software you can use.

I am sure you know TDAmeritrade is a discount online brokerage firm. If you have an account with them, they have streaming web software (java based, nothing needs to be installed), then you can use that.

What is the name of the software which you use?
