So, like the title says, my internal HD on my iMac failed a verify test. The iMac has been having kernel panics and random shutdowns. It all started today. Disk Utility will try to repair it, but it fails. I'm assuming I should backup my HD and reinstall the OS. Is this what I should do? Thanks in advance.
Have you tried it also from the install dvd?, same error happened to me, sometimes it was able to fix it form the install DVD while another ones I had to run DiskWarrior in order to fix it.
