I don't know why but my dock icon for iCal always displays the date July 17 unless I open the program.
Is this just a default icon, or is there a way I can make it always display the correct date even if I have not launched the program?
Thanks

Is it fixed really, or am I having an isolated issue?
My iCal icon updates, but then "sticks" at the date of my last login (I don't usually log out, I just sleep my MacBook). If I log out and in, the icon updates.

OK, it seems that the iCal icon is now updating itself--at least, it did last night at midnight with no operator action.

Now the iCal icon is stuck on yesterday again. Seems to be a hit-or-miss proposition. I suggest we all submit bug reports to Apple, clearly there's something amiss here.

Check your iCal time zone. It has its own timezone preferences now.

I saw that...and I have the box checked.
From 11/3 to 11/4, the icon updated itself; from yesterday (11/4) to today (11/5), it did not update until I logged out and back in.
