Hi all,

I've just started a new job at a company which delivers all it's e-mail via MS Exchange. All well and good when it's been set up on the office PC for me but more problematic now I'm working from home a bit and need access to it from my Mac.

I'm currently using MS Outlook Web Access in Safari, which is pretty awful. I've just noticed that OSX Mail seems to support Exchange servers, problem is though I don't know the "Incoming Mail Server" or "Outlook Web Access Server" addresses of my company. Is there any way to discover these from using Exchange Web Access or otherwise (I'm guessing one of those will be easy enough...)?

Cheers,
John F.

Usually you can enter the OWA address as the server address for exchange.

Apple Mail's implementation of exchange is IMAP, so IMAP will have to be turned on on the server for it to work.

The only way I can think of to get them from home is to (1) call a sysadmin at work or (2) send an email from OWA to an external account and look at the email headers for the Exchange server name or IP.

You could also enabled IMAP4 if pure Exchange doesn't work well for you from your mail client.
