I wokeup this morning to find 4083 messages in one of my mailboxes. Somehow every email I got (ever in this account) was duplicated. Is there a quick way to select all unread messages so I can just move them to the trash? I tried rebuilding the mailbox, but the issue still persists.

I am running the most up to date 10.4 on a PPC imac G4.
