I'm running Tiger and have changed all my icons via CandyBar. I felt it was time to refresh the look, so first I wanted restore all default icons, which is a function within the software (one simple click).

However, when I first started changing my icons for some reason, there were some I didn't use CandyBar for: I simply had the icon I wanted to use, copied it, opened "Get info" from the folder/app i wanted to paste the icon and pasted it.

So after restoring in CandyBar the few I did outside CandyBar using this copy/paste method remains altered.

Does the OS have an archive of default icons, where I could use the same method to reach default status? Or can the icon pack be downloaded somewhere?

If not, could someone help me, I just need three icons: Documents folder, Music folder and the Pictures folder.

Maybe someone with default icons can copy them and somehow send them to me??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hehe, solved it. All that was needed was abit of logical thinking ... in a copy/paste method, why not just cut? Indeed, cutting defaults the icon.

Cut: Command + X

.. in case anyone wonders. Thanks anyways.

You can also just highlight the icon in the Get Info window and hit the delete key. No need to cut.
