Recently I received a dvd with a bunch of old 90's cartoons on it, one of which is the show Angry Beavers. Now they are all .wmv files which I usually can play no problem with VLC player. So I try and run them and about every couple minutes the video gets all scrambled and unwatchable. I tried running them in Quicktime and they run just fine. This has done this before with other formats and I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue.

I tried checking for an update, but my version is the latest. If there is another media player out there with playlist capability then I would gladly use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advanced!

sometimes I do get files that VLC won't play but QT (with Perian plugin) will. I think you're just running into a couple like that.

There's a QT-based app called LittleView. It has a playlist and should play anything that QT will.

Awesome! I will check that out, thanks for the quick reply. I will post if any problems occur.

WMV files on a DVD? Smells like copyright infringement.

The DVD is nothing but a bunch of recorded Angry Beavers and Hey Arnold episodes from Tivo. Please don't accuse.
