I have a 4 minute movie I'm trying to make a DVD of. Simplest thing ever. It got to stage 4 of burning and I left it overnight... in the morning it still had not finished. Screensaver off etc.

eMac running 10.3.9.

I was having some trouble reading the disks (even commercial DVDS), but creating a new user seems to have fixed that.

Any suggestions? Googling suggested making a disk image and then burning that with disk utility, but how to make a disk image from iDVD? I don't see an option for that.

turns out it may be a superdrive problem...
